Starting in Duluth at Canal Park and running along highway 61 all the way to the Canadian Border, the North Shore Scenic Drive provides an up close and personal view of Lake Superior.
Along the way you can stop off at Split Rock Light House, Visit Gooseberry Falls State Park or see the falls at Cascade River just to name a few the stunning views to take in along this scenic byway.
Driving the North Shore Scenic Drive
The North Shore Scenic Drive provides travelers a chance to view the lake shore up close. Along the way stop in and try some local food, or visit a local shop. Make sure to pop into Sugarloaf Cove for a quick hike if you can. If you have a chance, stop off at one of the many state park road side spots to catch a waterfall or great Lake Superior photo op.
